STEPPING STONE FARMS
MAY & JUNE EGG PLATE
$1 of each Egg Plate enjoyed in May and June at Blue’s will go to Stepping Stone Farms. Stepping Stone Farms is a non-profit horse rescue and equestrian facility in Franksville that serves the needs of people in the South East Wisconsin area. In their Equine Assisted Coaching programs, people experience physical and emotional healing through riding and interacting with the horses, which can improve his or her self-esteem, relationship skills and quality of life. Stepping Stone Farms has been a shining forerunner in the Southeastern Wisconsin horse community since 2004.
Our Egg Plate Charity changes every two months, and it’s one of the ways we hope to help support our great community. Our goal is to provide hospitality, vision, and a slice of community every day.
By supporting the needs of the community we strive to preserve the EGG: Everyone’s Good Graces. We’ve supported 91 Egg Plates Charities and more than 288 local organizations.
THE BURN SURVIVOR'S SUMMER CAMP
$1 of each Barry's Browns (our daily special stuffed hash browns) enjoyed in May will go to The Burn Survivor's Summer Camp. The Burn Survivor's Summer Camp is held each year in East Troy, WI. Burn Camp is a free, week-long, overnight summer camp experience for kids with life-changing burn injuries to grow their lifelong support system, continue to heal from the emotional trauma of their burns, and just be a kid. The dedication and participation of more than 100 burn survivors and volunteers makes this camp special for everyone who attends.
Named for our own handyman and Wauwatosa fireman, Jim Barry, these Firefighter-inspired stuffed browns will be available all throughout the month of May!
BLACK LIVES MATTER.
We have been trying to find the words to express our feelings and support. Words that would not ring hollow in the haste to speak out. In that search and listening to the BIPOC community, we realized we didn’t have to look further than our long-standing company values.
At Black Shoe Hospitality, our mission has always been “… to be great members of the community. Our businesses are a means to support causes, organizations, and individuals in the Milwaukee area… Everyone is welcome.” And that won’t stop now.
For 13 years, we have welcomed patrons to our restaurants the best way we know how – through great food and service. To that end, we will be increasing the diversity of our food sources and staff to ensure we’re supporting and uplifting the BIPOC community.
Black Lives Matter. Everyone is welcome at Black Shoe Hospitality.

We source ingredients for quality first, and we source from local farmers and producers whenever possible. Utilizing local farmers minimizes our environmental footprint, supports the local economy, and provides us with the freshest product.
